SUG ASPIRANT, NEWTON WITHDREW CASE FILED AGAINST KING HEMMY AND ADVISER

An aspirant at SUG level, Newton Okwaji politically known as Newton had withdrew the case he filed against two other aspirants- King hemmy and Adviser.

The plantiff had earlier filed a case claiming they(defendants) illegally relocated his campaign banners.

This development came after the first hearing and the declaration of interlocutory held on 16th Wednesday, October, 2019.

The case was after the end of the first hearing adjourned by the Chief Judge. The CJ submitted that the need for adjournment was necessary as the case was not substantial and lack concrete evidence.

However, a letter was submitted immediately after the court hearing on 16th of October, 2019 by the plaintiff (NEWTON) to the Judicial Council which indicated his decision to withdraw the case.

In a statement released and signed by the CJ of FPA, Hon. Justice Fakinlede Caroline, it was confirmed that all parties involve in the suit have being informed accordingly.

“After the first hearing and the declaration of interlocutory held on 16th Wednesday, October, 2019, of which the case was earlier adjourned to Saturday 19th, October,2019.

“After informing the concerned parties and having consented,
The Judicial Council hereby announce to the public that the case that was earlier held on 16th Wednesday October,2019, has now been withdrawn.
