JOLOMI ADMONISH STUDENTS TO STEER CLEAR OF VIOLENCE

•FPA is for all irrespective of faculty

An aspirant for the office of Director of social at Students’ Union Level of the Federal Polytechnic, ado-ekiti today had advised students to desists from any form of violence during the upcoming election into positions of the Apex Union on Campus.

His advise came hours after he was dropped from the race by the Electoral committee in charge of the election

Earlier today, during the customary manifesto that do precedes the normal election, it came as shock to the students as the most popular Master of Ceremony on campus was not called upon by the Electoral Committee to voice his agendas to the Nigerian students.

The decision generated mixed feelings among students as murmurs were heard from different corners within the Sport Complex. However, it was believed his disqualification was as a result of deficiency in his result as stipulated by the constitution and students’ handbook.

Consequently, the pioneer of the Campus Award night had released a statement advising students not to indulge in any form of violence that may impede a successful and peaceful electionering process.

Meanwhile, he termed what happened as “fate endorsed by God.” He went ahead to submit that the institution belongs to all irrespective of Faculty or department.

“Solidarity greetings to all the Nigerian students of the Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, most especially the resurgence team’19, redefined team’19, and all my lovers out there.

“I’m using this medium to implore all entire students of FPA to promote peace seque to the 11th hour decision made today at the manifesto ground. I would like us to know that promoting violence has no positive effect on the entire Nigeria students rather than causing a greater harm in our academical endeavor.

“I’m begging the entire Nigerian students to humbly accept any decision made in respect of the ongoing election period as fate endorsed by God.

“Let’s come out in mass to vote and not fight so as to promote peace
