The directorate of students’ affairs has announced the commencement of registration for hostel accommodation for 2019/2020 Academic Session.
The information which was made public via a circular dated 20th of November, 2019 was mainly directed to all HND I students.
In the circular, the management frowned at the habitual acts of HND students taking advantage of fresh students by selling their bed spaces at exorbitant prices. The management condemned the act in strong terms and said all HND II students will no longer enjoy the previledge of automatic allocation.
“It has been observed that the majority of the HND II students who were given automatic accommodation used the advantage to exploit other students, particularly the fresh students, by selling the bed spaces back exorbitant prices,”, the circular reads.
Consequently, all students interested in staying in the hostel for the coming session are admonished to register on or before 6th of December in order to be legally allocated bed space.
“Please note that failure to register on or before Friday, 6th December, 2019, would mean that you are not interested in staying in the institution’s hostel by 2019/2020 Academic session.”
