COST OF BOARDING TOWN BUS HIKED FROM 50NAIRA TO 100NAIRA

This was as indicated in an official statement signed by FPASU president, Alubarika and counter signed by the Union General Secretary.According to the students’ union leaders, the need to increase the cost is necessary to arrest the lingering scarcity of bus mostly encountered after lectures.”The Students Union in conjunction with all Faculty Presidents, Department Presidents, Class Governors, The Dean of Student Affair and Major Stakeholders in this great citadel of higher learning has profound a solution to this issue of unavailability of External Buses to convey Students from school to town during the closure of the day”, the statement reads.”After many deliberation, we agree on increasing the External Buses fee to *100 naira* to and fro so as to enhance the External Drivers to bring in an empty buses to convey Students to town”, it continues.Meanwhile, another part of the statement indicated that the price for school-owned buses remain 50naira.Also, the new price takes effect from 14th of October, 2019.”Note: The School Buses Remain At The Constant Price Of 50 Naira To And Fro”©Inside Fedpolad
